VICTIMS SUPPORT FUND HANDS OVER WATER SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH) FACILITIES TO FCT SCHOOLS
Following the successful implementation of the 1st phase and 2nd phase of the VSF Covid 19 emergency intervention, the VSF Taskforce on Covid-19 on 21st December 2020, as part of the 3rd phase, commenced the hand-over of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects in the FCT at the Government Day Secondary School (Boarding) Bwari.
The three schools in the FCT to benefit from the WASH projects are: Government Day Secondary School (Boarding) Bwari, FCT-Abuja, Government Secondary School, Kuje, FCT-Abuja, and Junior Secondary School, Asokoro, FCT-Abuja.
These schools will receive:
- A solar-powered borehole
- 4 Hand Wash Stations
- 2000 Pcs of Reusable Facemasks
- 5 pieces of 4 Ltr Hand Sanitizers
- 120 Bottles of 500ml Liquid Hand wash
- 5 cartons of bleach
The hand-wash stations have been set up in the schools and the schools have been supplied with liquid hand-wash, sanitisers and bleach. VSF continues to provide succour to vulnerable Nigerians and as well as institutional support to agencies involved in the fight against Covid 19.
