VICTIMS SUPPORT FUND HANDS OVER WATER SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH) FACILITIES TO THREE (3) SCHOOLS IN ONDO STATE
Following the successful implementation of the 1st phase and 2nd phase of the VSF Covid 19 emergency intervention, the VSF Taskforce on Covid-19 on 17th of February 2021 as part of the 3rd phase, commenced the hand-over of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects in Ondo State at the Holy flock Grammar School Ayeyemi.
The three schools in Ondo State to benefit from the WASH projects are: Holy flock Grammar School Ayeyemi, Oroke High School Akungba Akoko, Anglican Grammar School Ijare.
These schools will receive:
- A solar-powered borehole
- 4 Hand Wash Stations
- 2000 Pcs of Reusable Facemasks
- 5 pieces of 4 Ltr Hand Sanitizers
- 120 Bottles of 500ml Liquid Hand wash
- 5 cartons of bleach
The hand-wash stations have been set up in the schools and the schools have been supplied with liquid hand-wash, sanitisers and bleach.
VSF continues to provide succour to vulnerable Nigerians and as well as institutional support to agencies involved in the fight against Covid 19.
