VSF DONATES N40 MILLION TO FACILITATE FREE TREATMENT OF KANO BOMB VICTIMS

Executive Directorof The Nigeria Foundation for the Support of Victims of Terrorism (VSF) Dr. Sunday Ochoche today visited the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano and the Murtala Specialist Hospital Kano. The purpose of the visit is to condole with the victims of the bomb blast and to assure the victims of the support of VSF.

Dr. Ochoche condemned the bomb attacks on innocent victims. On behalf of the Chairman Committee on Victims Support Fund General T.Y. Danjuma, he announced support of 20 million naira to each of the hospitals. This support is to ensure that the hospitals procure the necessary capacity to treat the victims at no cost to them. This brings to a total of 14 hospitals that have been supported by VSF.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and Murtala Specialist Hospital Kanoappreciated the donation and assured the VSF Executive Director that victims of armed attacks and bomb blast would receive the care they require without the worry of settling any medical bills.
